Twenty first century life is challenging which can lead to stress, anxiety, phobias, anger, trauma or depression. My role as a therapist is to help you to feel better quickly and create a life that works well for you.
I practice ‘brief solution focused therapy‘ which aims to use the minimum number of sessions to bring about change. This is very much a collaboration – we work together to make the changes you want to make, in a way that is right and comfortable for you. Often people start to feel better from the first session.
We will not spend a lot of time talking about your past but look to the future, helping you to feel calmer and build your resilience. If you want to know more, the basis of my approach is called The Human Givens.
I’m happy to see people face to face or via Zoom whichever works best for you. I can provide sessions at a reduced fee if you are experiencing financial difficulty at the moment.
