Your first counselling session will last between 60-90 minutes and will be aimed at enabling you to feel better before you leave. I will help you understand what is happening when you feel distressed, and provide you with practical tools, as well as brief solution focused therapy, to help you feel better quickly. Subsequent sessions will last about an hour. Most difficulties can be resolved within a few sessions but it is important to give time to more complex long standing concerns.
You are welcome to see me face to face at my private practice at Bowden House, Totnes in Devon, or we can meet online using Zoom, whichever works best for you.
Some people opt for a mixed economy, seeing me face to face initially, and then moving to working together online.
